New York — Telomerase Activation Sciences Inc., based here, has announced the results of its Pivotal 2005 Anti-Aging Trial of TA-65, the first human trial to show measurable and positive anti-aging benefits — including improvement in skin condition — from a Telomerase activator, PRNewswire reports.
The Pivotal 2005 Anti-Aging Trial was a 24-week double-blind, placebo-controlled study involving 36 male subjects between 60 and 85 years of age. The study notes that there has been significant research on the role of cellular aging and telomere attrition in several types of skin cells, including keratinocytes, fibroblasts, microvascular endothelial cells and melanocytes. The results of this study suggest that TA-65 improves the structure and/or function of skin in older people.
According to PRNewswire, the study results also showed that subjects experienced improvement in immune system function, vision, sexual function, energy levels and overall sense of well-being.
I am a fairly young looking 79 yr old female sculptor, This past year has been a very stressful year. As a result my adrenals are exhausted and I have lost much body muscle. I am very dehydrated and have developed wrinkles all over my body….particularly in my face. I am also quite acidic.
